Man Moment Machine
Tonight, (October 31) I will be on History Channel's Man Moment Machine . The MAN is Alexander the Great, the MOMENT is his seige of Tyre in 334 BC, and the MACHINES are his catapults. This was produced by Adelman Productions which has a great reputation in documentary video making, so I'm hoping it will be a good program.
Catapult warfare really came into its own under Alexander the Great and his generalship at Tyre is very interesting. At the time Tyre was an island fortress and it took a great long time to build the ships and a raised earthern road out to the city to raise the siege. Good story, please tune it.
